Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Tactr ("Tactr", "Service") provided by Hawk Eye AI ("we", "us"). By using Tactr you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Tactr is a mobile app + web platform that helps you:
- Share a digital business card
- Capture paper business cards via on-device OCR
- Draft AI-personalized follow-up emails to send through your connected email account
- Track bookings made by your contacts
Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You must be 18 or older to use Tactr. One person per account; team accounts come later.
Subscriptions
Free tier
Free forever with monthly caps on captures and AI follow-ups. Caps reset at the start of each calendar month.
Pro — $14.99/month
Higher caps, voice notes, contact search, export, AI summaries. Auto-renews monthly.
Business — $39.99/month
Unlimited captures + follow-ups, calendar integrations, booking pipeline, custom branded email templates, sales automation features. Auto-renews monthly.
All paid subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing (via RevenueCat). Billing, renewal, and refund policies are governed by the respective app store. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Acceptable use
Use Tactr to follow up on real business connections you've made. Don't:
- Send spam, harassment, or anything that violates the CAN-SPAM Act or equivalent local laws
- Upload images of cards you don't own or have permission to capture
- Send AI-generated content designed to deceive recipients about who you are
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass usage caps
- Use Tactr for unlawful purposes
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules with reasonable notice when possible, or immediately for severe violations.
Your content
Anything you upload (card images, your virtual card data, your captured contacts) remains your content. You grant Tactr a limited license to store and process it as needed to operate the Service. We don't claim ownership.
AI-generated drafts
Tactr's AI follow-up drafts are exactly that — drafts. You review and edit before sending. You are solely responsible for the content of any email you send through Tactr. The Service doesn't guarantee AI output is accurate, appropriate, or compliant with any particular regulation.
Connected services
If you connect an email account or calendar, you authorize Tactr to send emails and create calendar events on your behalf, subject to whatever you initiate in-app. You can revoke this at any time from Settings or from the connected service directly.
Service availability
Tactr is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is usually communicated in advance; outages can happen.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime through Settings → Delete Account or at tactr.app/delete-account. We can terminate your account for material breach of these Terms with notice. On termination your data is deleted within 30 days (see Privacy Policy).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tactr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid Tactr in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes get an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
